What we use and why.

Information we use

• Your public FPL Team ID and the public squad information available through FPL.
• Your email address when you subscribe or sign in.
• The page you subscribed from and a browser session identifier.
• Basic service events, such as a team load or briefing view, so we can measure whether the product works.
• Your IP address when needed to prevent abuse and apply request limits.

Deadline Cover

Deadline Cover runs in-app for linked squads. Email delivery is optional. When you actively select email delivery, you consent to FPL Pilot using your email address to send a recommendation before FPL deadlines. If your public Team ID is linked, we attach it to the subscription so the note can include squad-specific priorities and return you to your briefing. We record when, where, and under which wording you consented. Every note includes an unsubscribe link.

Browser storage

We use browser storage for a session identifier, your returning Team ID, referral attribution, and product preferences. You can clear this through your browser settings. The public briefing still works without an account, though some returning-user conveniences may disappear.

Service providers and retention

We use service providers to host the application and database and to deliver requested email. We do not sell your information. We keep an active subscription until you unsubscribe and keep limited delivery, consent, suppression, and security records where they are needed to operate the service reliably, demonstrate your choice, and avoid emailing you again after you opt out.

Our lawful bases

We rely on your consent for Deadline Cover email. We use contract where processing is necessary to provide an account feature you request, and legitimate interests to secure, maintain, and improve the service through proportionate operational data. You can withdraw Deadline Cover consent without affecting your account.

Your choices

You can switch Deadline Cover off in account Settings or use the one-click unsubscribe link in any note. You may also ask to access, correct, erase, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal data, or object to relevant processing. For a privacy question or request, contact @fplpilot on X.
